This memoir by Lori Gottlieb isn't normally the type of book I would pick up but I am glad I did. Fiction is normally my go to for reading but I decided to branch out after seeing this book on Book of the Month Club.
Maybe You Should Talk To Someone follows the story of a therapist, her patients, and her own struggles in therapy as a patient. It is a beautiful combination of funny and heartfelt at the same time. It makes you take a look at yourself but in an nonthreatening sort of way. Without realizing it this book was exactly what I needed.
Overall this book is a great read for someone who is looking for a laugh but also wouldn't mind getting something deeper and you don't have to like nonfiction to appreciate this book.
