I just finished Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot. The first half of the book took me a few days to get in to (mostly because of my schedule) but once I got to the second half of the book I could not put it down and finished it in a day. It was a great book!
The story follows Kya, a young girl left to fend for her self in the shack she lived in with her family on the marsh until everyone else left. As she grows up she is seen as an outcast by the town people and often struggles to find her own way. The story also follows the story of Chase Andrews, a local town boy who died unexpectedly in young adulthood.
If you are looking for a great read, this is for you!
